Temporary Storage

Storage, both temporary and permanent, for recovered materials or supplies is an extremely important aspect of oil spill response operations as well as other emergency operations and situations. In oil spill response operations, the capability to sufficiently store (onshore, offshore) oil and oily debris, or sorbent materials is vital to successful response operations.

New Naval supplies a line of tanks, bladders and barges in a range of capacities that provide temporary storage, both onshore and offshore. All storage systems are constructed from highly durable materials, are portable and can be rapidly assembled to provide immediate and precise storage solutions for the operation at hand.

New Naval's decontamination units provide a convenient, temporary solution to ensure proper containment of collected waste when temporarily stored or during transfer operations. Units provide a safety layer or compartment that shields against leakages or catch spilled materials that may occur during transfer and storage operations. Leaks from storage equipment or transfer operations can result in soil, water and equipment contamination or result in secondary spills; units protect against these incidents. When not in use, systems can be stored and transported in a compact form reducing the need for storage and transport space.
