The Seaguardian Twin 12 Dynamic Recovery Vessel is unique and innovative fast response and recovery, dynamic, Catamaran hulled vessel designed to immediately mobilize to any incident that might pose a threat to the marine environment. Her unique design allows handling and operation with minimum crew requirements. The significant advantages compared to the conventional oil spill response vessels are summarized below.


The vessel is built for oil spill response (U/J configurations) and dispersant application operations.


Key Features

  • Equipped with a built-in retractable oleophilic belt skimmer which allows oil recovery operations to commence almost immediately upon arrival on the spill site.
  • High speeds up to 18 knots, thus minimizing initial response time.
  • The vessel also carries an on-board, lobe type, transfer pump, ideal for any transfer operation.
  • Able to accommodate oil containment booms, dispersant spraying systems and deployment or recovery of equipment by utilizing the on-board crane.
