New Naval’s ScorTail 5R-M Belt Brush Oil Skimmer recovers light to heavy viscosity oils and is designed specifically for larger recovery operations. The skimmer can be installed on a vessel and used in advancing recovery operations. The skimmer is capable of efficient and continuous operations offshore and in shallow waters. It utilizes proven oleophilic brush technology making it capable of achieving large recovery capacities with optimum efficiency. When mounted on a vessel, the skimmer can be utilized as a bow skimmer or a side skimmer converting a work boat into an oil slick processing system.
