ScorStore Oil Containment Boom Reel

New Naval’s ScorStore Boom Reels are a highly efficient way to store, transport and rapidly deploy/recover oil booms. The reels are manufactured from high-grade special-treated/corrosion protected mild steel and a hot-dip galvanized heavy-duty spool. The robust frame is also galvanized. The storage capacity depends on the type of the stored boom. The reel is hydraulically driven and incorporates a brake system for increased safety. The reel allows boom operations to safely deploy and recover boom from a variety of scenarios including offshore, near shore and inland operations.
