New Naval's Scorpion F-Series Fence oil boom or oil barrier are containment booms that are ideal for long-term, nearshore, harbor and in-land oil containment. The slim design of the boom allows the boom to neatly fold upon itself allowing for compact storage and maximum use of space. The compact style of the boom makes it easy to deploy and recover. The rigidness, high durability, buoyancy and strength of the boom, provided by thin foam floats, make it ideal for permanent installations and long-term installations.

Product Technical Specification

Scorpion Floating Fence Containment Boom is manufactured from high visibility PVC-coated Polyester fabric
Floats are made of closed cell polyethylene (PET) foam
The boom has two tension members, an enclosed PET webbing on the top and a Hot-Dip Galvanized (HDG) Chain on the bottom. These tension members provide the boom with excellent axial tension distribution which is extremely important for long-term boom applications.
The F-Series comes with INOX U-bolt connectors or ASTM Z-connectors or any other custom made requirement
The F-Series comes in a variety of dimensions and boom sections can be produced in various lengths
